BOOKHAM SCOUTING CENTRE - HISTORY

This website was live from November 2002 until September 2009 during which time it kept group members and the wider community informed of developments in the Scouting Centre Appeal and, during 2008 and early 2009 the progress of the actual building work. The site is no longer maintained, but will be left on line as a record of all the hard work that went into realising the new headquarters.

The final fundraising totals were as follows:

• General fund raising £85,685.66

• Sale of old site £139,566.21
