The area of the building has been reduced to formation level and a layer of sub-base placed and compacted. The finished building will be nearly twice this size. |
18th June 2008
Trenches for the footings have been excavated along three sides of the building. |
19th June 2008
A large heap of earth is appearing next to the building work. |

Preparation of the paths and hardstanding in front to the stores is in progress. |
20th June 2008
The first load of concrete for the footings arrives at 9am. |

The concrete is quickly discharged. Four more loads to go. |
