Work started on the main building today.

Bisley's groundworks sub-contractor S R Newman are stripping the topsoil from the footprint of the building.

The brand new excavator made short work of this task!

17th June 2008
The area of the building has been reduced to formation level and a layer of sub-base placed and compacted. The finished building will be nearly twice this size.

18th June 2008
Trenches for the footings have been excavated along three sides of the building.

19th June 2008
A large heap of earth is appearing next to the building work.

19th June 2008
Preparation of the paths and hardstanding in front to the stores is in progress.

20th June 2008
The first load of concrete for the footings arrives at 9am.

20th June 2008
The concrete is quickly discharged. Four more loads to go.
